Edamame Guacamole

Is it Edamole or Guacamame?

This is your new go-to snack. SO GOOD!

Added bonus: the edamame keeps the avocado from browning!

So easy and so much faster than going to the store for boring guacamole.

Throw the ingredients in a food processor and serve with your favorite chips or veggies.

Important: choose a ripe avocado. It should give a little when you gently squeeze it.

Optional add ins:

  • serrano or jalapeño peppers
  • tomatoes
  • sour cream
  • scallions
  • cojita cheese

Directions: throw everything into your food processor and blend. That’s it!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shelled edamame
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 3 Tb lime juice
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 Tb red onion
  • salt and pepper
  • garnish with cilantro
